The only author brave enough to mix PDCA with AI conspiracies.
Marine veteran. Business fixer. Sci-fi nerd. Cocktail guy.
I’m Ed Beverly, a sci-fi author and leadership writer who grew up learning to read the room—and the terrain. Raised a military brat and later commissioned as a Marine officer, I’ve had a front-row seat to both human behavior and organizational dysfunction. Now I write about both: from business books on leadership and culture to virtual reality thrillers where the wrong turn isn’t just metaphorical. (Deliverance fans, you get it.)
I’m a newer author with a growing catalog and a lot more stories to tell. Whether it’s fiction or nonfiction, I’m drawn to the messy stuff—dysfunctional systems, flawed heroes, and those “how did we get here?” moments.
Before diving into authorship, I spent 25+ years helping organizations transform—leading improvement initiatives across industries from tech and aviation to education and finance. That background shows up in my writing—infused with realism, dark humor, and a refusal to worship at the altar of whatever HR trend is hot this week. (Looking at you, “synergistic mindfulness.”)
I live in sunny Arizona with my brilliant (and very patient) wife, Jen. When I’m not writing, you’ll find me on the golf course, mixing up a new cocktail, or getting schooled by my grandkids.
My books are for readers who crave tension, laugh at the wrong moments, and love a twist that leaves them saying, “wait—what just happened?”
