Marine veteran. Business fixer. Sci-fi nerd. Cocktail guy.

I’m Ed Beverly, a sci-fi author and leadership writer who’s lived a few lives. As a military brat turned Marine officer, I grew up on the move—learning to adapt, observe, and occasionally outrun trouble. These days, I’m channeling those experiences into writing: from business books about culture, leadership, and problem-solving to virtual reality thrillers with that classic Deliverance-style “what could possibly go wrong?” vibe.

I’m a newer author with a growing catalog and a lot more stories to tell. Whether it’s fiction or nonfiction, I’m drawn to the messy stuff—dysfunctional systems, flawed heroes, and those “how did we get here?” moments.

Before diving into authorship, I spent 25+ years helping organizations transform—leading improvement initiatives across industries from tech and healthcare to education and finance. That background shows up in my writing, often with a twist of dark humor and a healthy dose of realism.

I live in sunny Arizona with my brilliant, patient wife Jen. When I’m not writing, I’m probably on the golf course, experimenting with custom cocktails, or playing with the grandkids.

My books are for readers who like a little tension, a little humor, and a whole lot of “wait—what just happened?”
